Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (UHSR) was established in the year 2008. It is a NAAC ‘A’ grade state-level University established by the Government of Haryana by Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak Act, 2008. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, research-level and Diploma courses in Health Sciences.
There are five incorporated colleges under the University that offer courses in Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy. In addition, various Medical, Nursing, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda colleges are affiliated to Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
The University has a 51-member academic council that takes care of the time-to-time upgradation of the curriculum. This academic council has the authority to control the overall academic policies of the University.
